LadysmithBC Posted March 9, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2018 I’m booked on the mid-January 2019 voyage to the Antarctic on the National Geographic Explorer and am looking at options for flights to/from Buenos Aires. Lindblad recommends American Airlines from Dallas or Miami, but Dallas would probably work best for me since I live near Vancouver, Canada. I’d appreciate it if anyone who has done this voyage lately would offer comments on what they did for flights to/from Buenos Aires. If you used American how did that work out? What other airlines/routes did you consider or use? How was Lindblad to deal with regarding the air travel? (And of course any comments or suggestions on the voyage itself would be appreciated.) Thanks in advance.
Journeymaker Posted March 9, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2018 I agree American is the way to go. I STRONGLY recommend flying in the day before cruise and allowing five hours from disembarkation before flight home. Consider checking with a travel agent or air line consolidate for lower fares Sent from my SM-G935V using Forums mobile app
Rare Keith1010 Posted March 16, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2018 I haven't done this voyage but did do it on another ship and we did use American Airlines out of DFW so I think it is a good choice. Give yourself a lot of time between flights as DFW is a large airport. Keith
