Early saver questIon

i am having to change cruise dates and ships from the magic in nov 18 to the breeze in may 19. My booking is an early saver and I understand it’s a 50pp change fee and the remainder of the deposit is held for 2years as future cruise credit. My question is I am switching dates can I apply the future credit to the new date? In other words I lose just 50 of the total I have given carnival

You can apply it, but you cannot use it as the deposit. EM

As stated by Essiesmom, you must pay the new deposit THEN you can apply whatever credit you may have as payment towards the remainder.

I have heard that people were able to get the FCC applied towards the new deposit if they did it all in the same phone call. But I don’t have any experience with that firsthand.

Yes, after paying Carnival the $50 per person penalty, my PVP applied the remainder to the deposit on the cruise I changed to.
