sugarnyc Posted March 14, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2018 Does port of Miami have global entry? The last time I was there the lines were so short I didn’t need to look. Thanks!

There wasn't a Global Entry kiosk that I saw but I showed my Global Entry card to the Customs Officer and she waved us through without even a question. Rare Dr. Cocktail Posted March 14, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 14, 2018 There wasn't a Global Entry kiosk that I saw but I showed my Global Entry card to the Customs Officer and she waved us through without even a question. I asked the port people ... no Global Entry. We had our Canadian Passports out and same thing ... nary a glance!
asctony Posted March 14, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2018 They do not even have/use Mobile Passport. Port Everglades does.
windlicht Posted March 14, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 14, 2018 I think Port Fort Lauderdale is the only port in Florida that has global entry but I read somewhere that Miami is working on it.

mikesteg Posted March 15, 2018 #9 Share Posted March 15, 2018 Trina, I think they are asking about the seaport, not the airport. Only a couple of seaports in the US use GE so far, but I bet the lines are really short. :D Good info Scottygirl. Our kids don't have GE, so if they officially accepted it we could not use the line. However, if the port is using it unofficially it may still provide some benefit so I'll take the cards.
