Stayed 2 nights pre cruise at LaConcha, wonderful. 1 night at AC post cruise. It was great. Did love being on the beach at LaConcha!

It's been a few years, but we loved the history of staying at El Convento. It's in the heart of OSJ and the view from the roof top deck was awesome. Not on the beach and a small pool.

We stayed at the Marriott last time pre and post cruise we went out of San Juan. Wonderful hotel, other than the Italian place across the street the surrounding restaurants were good.

 

We go in September this year, and are staying at the Sheraton Old San Juan pre-cruise to do the Old San Juan stuff and the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico Golf & Beach Resort post cruise to do the rain forest stuff.

The Vanderbilt? AC Marriott?

 

My two cents on AC Marriott:

 

Stayed there pre-cruise this past November and a group in the room next to us was partying extremely loud. I called the front desk in the wee hours about it and security was sent. Upon security's arrival five of the many partiers came stumbling out of the room and security did nothing. When i asked why he wasn't going to stop the noise, he said, "They are young and it is Saturday." I would NOT recommend this property.

The AC Marriott charges a resort fee, but it’s not (in my opinion) a resort.
