Banana15 Posted March 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2018 Has anyone done this excursion? I'm not sure if it is just Celebrity or also includes other cruise lines, which is why I am asking here. Can you give any feedback? I currently have reservations at Passions, but I'm considering cancelling them for this, so I would like to know if it's worth it. cruisetimeforme Posted March 23, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2018 Cancelled our reservation at Passions to go with Mi Dushi next month. Can't resist the option of sailing at sunset versus eating

It was wonderful! We did have a spectacular sunset, but the crew was great and so determined to make sure everybody enjoyed the evening. We loved it! StanandJim Posted June 13, 2018 #8 Share Posted June 13, 2018 It should be noted here that the Sunset Cruise, while scenic, offers lukewarm food served on paper plates with plastic utensils. None of the boats feature tables for the patrons, so one has to balance that paper plate AND a cocktail while perched on long hard benches which run the length of the deck. I was not expecting haute cuisine, but these cruises are akin to a family picnic catered off the Applebee's appetizer menu. The so called "open bar" is entirely no-name liquor (i.e. rotgut). They pre-mix two or three concoctions, each of which contains lots of sweet fruit juice and enough of the no-name liquor to make it burn going down. The hooch IS dispensed freely, and by the third cup, you stop noticing how bad it all is. At least the Sunsets are pretty.
