Is fred Olsens Braemar sutible for mature teens?

Hi, we are looking to book a cruise for n3xt summer on the Braemar 5o the end but was wondering is the ship audible for a mature 16 year old who has cruised on smaller p and O ships?

Fred's ships are particularly popular with active recently-retireds.

It depends on the teenager but wouldn't suit most of them, there are very very few on any of Fred's ships.

Thank you all he has cruised a number of times on Aurora and the Qm2. So is that ok he' not a fan of big megaships he likes traditional cruising.

The issue here is not the size of the ship but the age of the clientele. If your son is happy to be the only passenger under 60, then no problem.

Aurora is my favourite. :) And about as big a ship as we like.

Cunard not my style - but each to his own.

 

Fred's ships are smaller, very "British", and yes very traditional.

The negatives for a teen are no activities or zones geared to teens, and more importantly few if any other teens to hook up with.

 

If junior is happy in the company of folk of grandad / great-grandad's age and has similar interests he/she will be OK.

If not, then Fred will be a poor choice.
