Rare Lupush Posted April 2, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2018 Hi All, We are booked on the Bliss for December 8th-15th which coincides with the last few nights of Hanukkah. Does NCL do anything special (other than religious services) for guests during the Hanukkah holiday? Also, will the Christmas decorations be up by then? I've never cruised during the holiday season and am looking forward to it very much. Thanks, Lee
bmwman Posted April 2, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2018 Yes the Xmas decorations will be up and we have never seen anything special for Chanukah and that includes cruising out of NYC during the festival. You will not see anything on board
WestCoastCruiser123 Posted April 2, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2018 Ncl usually has a menorah at the guest service desk for the nights of Chanukah. Now don’t expect it to always be lit for the right number of nights. But they did at least have one. I didn’t see anything in terms of decor except for that on display for Chanukah. zqvol Posted April 2, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 2, 2018 Don't expect much in the way of Christmas decorations either. They are best described as minimal considering the size of the ship. Most will be in the atrium and the main dining rooms.
Fishymom Posted April 3, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 3, 2018 Also religious services are not offered unless you have someone cruising that is wishing to offer them.. if that makes sense.
Rintin Posted December 6, 2018 #6 Share Posted December 6, 2018 (edited) We cruised with Norwegian during chanukah and they provided an electric hanukia and all the traditional food. Not sure about Christmas decorations though... We will also be sailing on the Bliss this year during the holiday so may see you there... shakeNbake Posted December 10, 2018 #7 Share Posted December 10, 2018 Just got off Dec 8. Sadly the only Hanukkah display was an electric candle Mannora if you happened to go to the service desk and some magnetic stickers on a cabin door.
