Transatlantic Internet

Could anyone that has recently sailed on a TA advise if the wifi was fully operational during the Atlantic crossing days. We are just looking to add our internet package for our TA later in the year. Last time we did a TA there was no internet access during the 5 days sailing across the Atlantic, the system has now been upgraded so we are curious if it is now accessible whilst mid Atlantic.

We are doing Barbados to Genoa on the Fantasia next week and the Internet packages are not available to pre-purchase on-line on the MSC website. It says not available for dates. We shall see.

I’ve had three —all mostly southern routes, and except for a stormy night and one day of technical problems, we always had internet on NCL Epic. We were even able to stream some hockey games from our dvr at home a few mornings before others woke up to their tech devices. Of course, ymmv.

We are doing the reverse on Preziosa and it shows us packages available on line.
