LandsB Posted April 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2018 Hi, We're going to be on the Carnival cruise that spends 2 days in Cabo and one in PV. I know you can stay overnight when you do the 2 days in PV cruise, but you have the tenders in Cabo and they give you a time of around 6pm to be back (on the website schedule that's what it shows). I'd like to consider staying out later, or overnight. Has anyone done this or know about it? Thanks, LB
RC Dancers Posted April 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2018 We did this about five years ago. We let guest services know and they wanted a copy of our passports. We had a hotel on Medano beach and water taxied there. It was nice, but a little scary to watch the ship sail away in the evening.

Did they seem to have an issue with it, or was it something they were familiar with?
riffatsea Posted April 9, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 9, 2018 There is no way to stay "later". You won't have tenders to take you back to the ship after the last one has done the trip. You can stay overnight if you like but I really don't understand paying for a hotel in Cabo when you have a room on board the ship?

Thanks. I'm thinking of staying overnight so we can enjoy the night at a nice resort. I am torn because it would add a lot of cost (the tax and fees they charge is absurd). This is mainly because if we do stay I'll want to do it at a very nice resort.
riffatsea Posted April 10, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 10, 2018 I would suggest that if you want to stay in Cabo overnight you take an inexpensive flight there and book a nice resort instead of taking a cruise. I say that because you may enjoy it and want more time there. You need to tell the ship ahead of time if you decide to stay overnight. I think it is more trouble than it is worth but that's just me. azpilot Posted April 10, 2018 #7 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Just remember you stay overnight and for some reason the ship can not tender the next day, you will have to find a way to the next stop or home at that point. Not a good idea IMO
