Italy tours for mom and son

Just me and my 15 year old son... wantbto see Pompeii, Most of Rome and Pisa. Ships are soooo expensive !! Leaving next week!!!

You can do much of this on your own...a little research, taking trains. The options for all three ports are discussed extensively here.

 

However, waiting until a few days left is severely cramping your possibilities.

What's your sailing? I would check the Roll Call for your sailing and see if anybody has two spots left on any of their pre-arranged tours. You could also try italytoursharing.com (or similar). Although spots will probably be very limited if you're leaving next week. I'd recommend grabbing Rick Steves' guide to Mediterranean cruise ports and finding out how to DIY as a backup.
