Msc armonia crashes into dock

MSC ARMONIA crashed into the dock in Roatan, Honduras. Took out a large section of the dock and ran aground briefly. No damage estimate yet but damage is visible from shore. This might have implications for any cruise ship docking there in the near future. Port could be canceled or might have to tender.

Oh wow! I hope no one was injured.

If you read the article there was minor damage to the ship and she is underway to her next port. The only delay was slight for debarkation and no one was injured and in any danger of being so. I don't think we have enough information to conclude that there will be any issues as the ship was still able to dock and debark passengers.

The MSC ship damaged the Coxen Hole dock which is not the dock that Carnival uses, Carnival docks at the Mahogany Bay dock.
