Can OBC be applied after you book an amenity online?

We bought Thermal Suite passes online because we wanted to take advantage of the reduced rate vs booking onboard. So we paid with credit card.

 

We have OBC that we'd like to use to cover at least some of the charge for Thermal Suite.

 

While onboard is it possible to apply OBC to the amenity booked online and get a cc refund?

Probably not. I wanted to do the same thing with a specialty dining. I wanted to book in advance from home to get the date and time I wanted, but it made me pay with a credit card at the time of booking. I actually wanted to pay for my specialty dining with my OBC. I called NCL and they said the only way I could use my OBC was to reserve onboard. You can not use OBC for anything pre-purchased.

Our PCC was able to make some reservations for us, such that we could pay once we boarded, using OBC. We could *not* do that ourselves online.

Unfortunately no, OBC means on board, not buy ahead of time and get a refund because you had credit to use on board.
