New Casino Offer

How much do you have to gamble to get these casino offers? I feel like you'd have to give the house a lot of $ to get a free cruise.

If you hit 7500 pts, you will receive offers immediately, including bounce back 1 time offers.

Likely, if you get over 2000 pts you'll receive offers, the more points you get, likely the better offer!

The casino club mailers state, if you get 7500 pts on a Premier Cruise, you'll be invited to fall and spring ultra cruises where prizes and gifts are better.

We've been on over a dozen Premier cruises during the last 12 months, have exceeded 7500 pts easily on most of them, and are still waiting for our first ultra invite!!!???

I haven't been impressed with the bounce back and other casino offers I've received from Carnival this year, so I haven't booked a Carnival cruise this year. I've only booked HAL casino offers because they've been much more worthwhile. The past few years I've received several Carnival free inside cabin casino offers and I've taken advantage of them. Today for the first time this year I received an email from Carnival's Player's Club for a free inside cabin and there were 21 ships/sail dates available in the email. I looked online at my Carnival VIFP offers and the offer did not show there, so I called the toll-free number provided in the email immediately to book and the cruise I had picked was already gone, but I was able to book the only alternative from the same port. I booked August Dream from NOLA for $122 in taxes/port.

What was different about this free casino cabin offer is that the offer did not show I could call my PVP to book, but only listed an 800 number to call and book. The booking confirmation I received in email shows the "Booked By" listed as "Carnival Player's Club." My previous casino offers allowed me to book through my PVP and I've never seen the player's club listed as the "booked by" in the past. One other difference I noticed is that even though I was given a cabin assignment on the phone, the rep told me my luggage tags and boarding pass will not be available until the week of sailing.

I'm left wondering if there is a new system in place for casino offers, especially for casino offers other than the premier offers (which I always seem to have available online) and which I can see online today. Maybe the freebies are being offered differently now??

Anyone else receive this offer today or noticed changes to the free casino cabin offers?

I will actually try and answer your question. In the last 6-8 months Carnival has been sending out email only invites that will NOT show up on your VIFP. You have to call the number and they will call you back and get you booked. I went on one in March on the Miracle and it took a few days to get a call back but I did from casino bookings and they booked me right over the phone. I do think they were trying some different things. All of the BB's I have gotten this year have be crap quite frankly. Hopefully tomorrow when the new club is launched we will know more about the future.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I agree their bounce backs have not been worthwhile this year. I didn't have to wait for a call back when I called the number they provided me. I was able to book when I called the number.

Just off the Glory premier casino rate yesterday. Cabin fare was maybe 5% discounted on a PC3 rate. Same rate was available online and through casino phone #.

Big change that I noticed was that the room rebate, which used to be in $100 bills, was now put on my casino account as "free play".

That's interesting about the free play approach. I guess it really doesn't matter to me, but if that happens to me, I'll be sure and spend their money first.

My expierence has been similar to thers posted here.

Used to get BB offers fairly often. Almost after every cruise in 2012-2014. But then they ended and seemed to only get Premier Cruise Offers online under "my offers".

So started booking those and would get anywhere between 8000-12000 pts per cruise. But never got an invite to an Ultra cruise.

Just got off the Glory (April 14-21), and got a "offer" in my mailbox last night of the cruise. NOT under my door, and NOT the ususall peice of paper BB offer. More like the snail mail offers on embossed cardstock. It was an 01V offer.

It says "Cruise, Play, Repeat" on it and has to be booked in 3 weeks. Didn't think anymore of it till I got home and look to see what was available.

Found a September 17, 2018 Panama Canal Transit cruise (10 day) for $130 ea/ interior cabin. Total cost $937 with all fees and taxes. Also includes $200 OBC. This is less than half price for any other offer I had. Booked it right away (April 25) as didn't want it to disappear.

Glad I did, because the day they anounced the new casino offers, it disappeared from "My Offers", even before the deadline to book (May-12).
