Best way to stay in touch from British Isles.

Going for 14 days on the Zuiderdam. Denmark, Amsterdam, Belgium, Scotland, France. What is the best way to send Photos home along with texting and video chatting both onboard and on land. Thanks for the help. We have ATT

The only way to do it onboard is using the ship's internet. Video chatting might b e limited due to signal strenght and consistency.

 

Ashore you can look for free wifi, if that is what you want to use your time for. AT&T has reasonable phone/data plans, just check their website.

Try WhatsApp. It will tie into ship wifi and you can text, speak or video chat. Not sure how video will be supported by ship wifi though. May want to save that for shoreside wifi services which tend to be faster.

Plenty of places wherever a cruise ship docks in the world for free wifi.

Wherever you dock you will find half a dozen or so of the ships crew sitting outside a shop or cafe using the stores free wifi. I have done the same along side them many times.
