Port of Long Beach:Debarkation day storing luggage and killing a few hours

Disembarking on a Sunday from Carnival and flight home is not until 5:30pm from LAX. Any ideas on where to store luggage and how to kill a few hours between the port and airport?

Hi,

Not a lot of possibilities:

a-rent a car and store luggage in trunk while you go sightseeing

b-go to the nearby Queen Mary for a tour and lunch and I think they will hold your luggage

c-go to the lovely Long Beach aquarium(not sure though about the luggage there)

d-pick a hotel near the airport and go there for lunch and ask to leave luggage

Sunseeker Tours will take you on a tour and drop you off at the airport.

This is a service I have just read about. I have no personal knowledge of using it. There are various places around LA that will keep your luggage for you.
