racepoint Posted January 2, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2006 I am sailing on the GOLDEN PRINCESS in March and according to the deck plan, our specialty steak house is the Sterling, yet I'm reading posts on this board that seem to indicate the "Desert Rose" is the name for the steak house. I've read that the Desert Rose features more of a Tex-Mex menu with margaritas included in the meal. Also, something about country music? Am I missing something when I read the deck plans? Can somebody clear this up for me??

Rare Coral Posted January 2, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 2, 2006 Desert Rose was the name of the Tex Mex restaurant. When Princess switched it to a steakhouse, they seemed to keep the name of the room but it is definitley a Sterling Steakhouse Menu. While on the ship - they referred to it with both names. Regardless what they call it - it is a steakhouse.
spongerob Posted January 2, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 2, 2006 They do, however, still have the cute margarita glasses with the cactus stem.
