I hope not or you wouldn't be able to open a magnetic door. It would stick to the metal frame. If you are asking if they are metal, then the answer is yes.

Yes, all metal. They're constructed of stainless steel, copper, and aluminum. :D

Currently on the horizon......

 

The doors will not take a magnetic sign. There is a type of ‘paneling’ on the outside of the cabin door that makes it not magnetic on the hallway side.

On some ships, if the door itself will not hold a magnet, most of the time (always?) the frame around the door will.

When in doubt about door decor, try "sticky tack", "fun tack" or some such. Works for me, and it IS removable! ;)

Blue painters tape. No residue and steward approved. And it will piss off the door decorators group on FB who I think must own stock in Command products. LOL
