Using self-serve laundry facilities onboard

if you bring liquid fabric softener please put the bottle in multiple ziplock bags. When I worked for the airlines I once had a young copilot tell me there was a mechanical problem on the plane and we needed a mechanic. Knowing the flight was oversold and we already were keeping the mechanic busy on another aircraft I went out to inspect the problem with the co-pilot.so I could describe the problems to dispatch and the mechanics. There was blue ice that had formed in the cargo compartment-(the co-pilot thought the lavatory tanks had leaked) Nope- I could smell it before I could see it- someone had packed a large bottle of Downey fabric softener in their suitcase and it leaked!

I wasn't talking about rules and following policies!

Telling someone that they are not supposed to do something certainly sounds like you are trying to

enforce a rule.

 

Lots of people use their first names here. Their choice...
