Allure My Time Dining with 7 People

By the time I booked my cruise, the 8:30 same time dining wasn't an option, so my party of 7 took the my time dining. I've read horror stories here about the My Time Dining experience on the Oasis-class ships. How bad is it? Should I be concerned or possibly switch to 5:30 or try again with the maitre d after we board? Or will I be ok if I book reservations every night for 8:00 PM with My Time dining? Eating at the main dining area is a must for us.

I'd book reservations every night for MTD. I'd also get on the wait list for trandtional late. If that does not work, once onboard, I'd try to switch to traditional late.

Jut did MTD for 8 . Booked all dining and shows as early as I could on Cruise Planner. No problem. You can also call Royal and they will link all your reservations together.

With a group of 7, you should make reservations, so they can try and have a table ready that's large enough. Pretty sure if you're going to eat that late, that you won't have much issue.
