Cuba cruise question

Recommended Posts

Does the Empress of the Seas ever arrive early to port in Havana. There is a day at sea between Cienfuegos and Havana. Have the ever ported the night before.

Thanks,

David

Unless already scheduled, No. A day at sea is just that. Been while but when sailed a 4 nite Bahama cruise. First day was in Coco Cay, then we had one day at sea, we just cruised around off the coast of Florida doing 5 Knots. Woke up at 2am and we were dead stop just sitting there in middle of no where. Woke and we went rest of way to Nassau...

My understanding is ships are scheduled for arrival and departure at most ports so it is not really within their control to dock early if they arrive early. I’d assume Cuba has some of port authority that controls this as well.

I often watch and listen to the Port Everglades webcam at work and some of the cargo ships can sit off the coast for several days before getting called for their docking time.
