Hi all, trying to navigate my way through the site. Hope this message gets through. We do not have a transfer from the airport to hotel or from hotel(Scandic Palace) to ship. Any ideas? Anybody have space with their transfers? Thanks and am so looking forward to this trip!!!

Sounds like you are cruising from Copenhagen? You need to go on this Cruise Critic site to Princess Roll Calls and select. Then find your ship and select "Find your ____ Princess Roll Call." Select the date you are sailing, then select "view discussion." There you will find others that are on your cruise.

 

If it is Copenhagen some hotels have their own shuttles from the airport. Otherwise you can just take a cab. It may be difficult to share a ride from the airport as you would have to arrive on the same flight. We took a cab from the hotel in downtown Copenhagen to the ship on boarding day.

 

If this hotel is booked through Princess as a pre-cruise package then Princess will provide the transfers to the hotel and to the pier.

While Princess will take you to the ship if you bought the hotel/transfer package the time may not be good. In our case they had us meet downstairs in Radisson Blu at 10 but then told us shuttle wouldn't be until 2. We turned over our luggage and went out to do some sightseeing and still got to the ship before they did. Copenhagen has a "Copenhagen Card" that give you all local transportation, canal boats and entry into many museums that is well worth while, especially if you are there for a few days.

 

If you are on your own you can likely buy a transfer from the Princess agents in the baggage area, but they will only take you to the contracted hotels. Same to go to the pier - you need to get to one of those hotels. Train works to get to the pier - about two blocks walk from the closest station.
