Transfers in Seward from train to ship

Looking for luggage transfer options from train to ship. Arriving in Seward mid day.

I can vouch for the fact that in Whittier your bags are sent directly from the train to the ship so long as you have your embarkation luggage tags on them, even if you booked the Alaska Railroad independently (not through the cruise line). Would think the same for Seward as when I boarded in Anchorage in the luggage tent they were sorting bags by ship for those embarking there as well.

When you check in at the depot in Anchorage, they will tag your bags for the ship and transfer them over for you when you arrive in Seward. Half of the people on the train will be going to the ship.
