Are Apple TV/ Fire TV blocked?

This is all too much for me! I just download things on Netflix and amazon prime before we sail

for ship or airport waiting

 

and use white noise app, cause hubby snores. :cool:

is the numedia internet based, if so how could you get a signal strong enough to stream?

@Hans Van Meiter, I will be on the Sunshine this year for an 8 day cruise and know that there will be times i why to watch a movie or tv show. I'm wondering will this work, if I download movies or tv shows using Terrarium TV along with Perfect Player in a Fire TV will I be able to view the downloads? I may have to bring a universal remote to change it to hdmi. If not, I will need a cord for audio since usb produces video not audio. I know before I leave the ship I will need to change it back.
