Shawnino Posted June 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2018 Ex-NCL cruisers here, seeking edible food. Two in our party require Schengen visas to embark in Italy. In the past, when seeking visas, printed copies of NCL's "E-Docs" (effectively, boarding passes) really seemed to impress consular officers and get them to grant visas. Does Oceania offer something similar or are we kind of stuck with our TA's invoices?

About 6 weeks +\- prior to embarkation you will receive (via your TA or from Oceania directly) a "final docs" e-mail with several attachments including your cruise embarkation summary. Rare LHT28 Posted June 10, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 10, 2018 What type of docs do you need? Usually you get the Blue Book with personal info on the first few pages Then about 3 weeks prior you get an email FINAL CRUISE SUMMARY with almost the same info If you need something sooner I would ask if the invoice will do

Thanks. Too tight. I'll send them off with receipts from the TA. Classical batting average with the NCL e-docs is a thousand. On other trips they've had more denials than visa grants. Sometimes it feels like the Cold War is still on...
