Columbia restaurant is the most famous for Cuban/Latin food.

Its really Cuban/Spanish food, not much other latin foods one there. Have heard good things. Looked at the menu and man, that is expensive. For the the Cuban dishes they are talking about for $20+ I can get three of them in Miami.

However, it seems to get good reviews and people do enjoy it. I need to check it out sometime I am in Tampa.

Berns steakhouse in Tampa is fantastic. Take the tour of the wine collection and make sure to have dessert.

If you like sushi, Samurai Blue on 8th Ave in Ybor is outstanding. They have a roll called "spontaneous combustion" I believe... heaven on a plate. Also lots of little bars to pop into for a drink, Gaspars Grotto was always fun, The Boneyard, or Fuma Bella. It's been a while since I've been so not sure if those places are still there. Have fun!

ETA: Fuma Bella is no longer. But the other 2 are!!
