Bibble Posted June 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2018 I tried looking to find the answer, but don't find it easily. Is it possible to price match to a higher category that is now less, but keep the lower category cabin? (lower category is sold out) Thank you! cruisinqt Posted June 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2018 You can only price match with something identical to what you have. If your category is sold out then you don’t get any more price matches. But you can upgrade to the higher category for free if it’s less. Or if there’s one that’s better for just a little more you can pay the difference. We once went from an inside cabin to a balcony for only $30 on an 8 day cruise for 4 people. :)
Bibble Posted June 21, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted June 21, 2018 Thanks so much! unfortunately I love my location, so I'll just keep checking for any cancellations in my category :)
mz-s Posted June 21, 2018 #4 Share Posted June 21, 2018 I went through this for my cruise last month - I had to switch cabins. But I ended up with almost $500 in OBC so it was worth it to me to move from midship to forward.
