Non-alcoholic drink charge at dinner?

Technically, you would be charged for soda. However, we found it really hit and miss on our last 3 NCL cruises. Sometimes they would ask for our card to swipe it, but most of the times, they wouldn't.

We're not big drinkers, other than maybe a glass of wine with dinner. Would we be charged for soda, water or sweet tea at dinner as well?

Thanks!

Unfortunately NCL has no idea what sweet tea really is, I have never seen it on any cruise ship.

You would be charged for soda and bottled water and alcoholic drinks, not for tea (hot or cold)or tap water, lemonade, and regular coffee. There are no free soda machines onboard like Disney Cruiseline. (That's the only standard line that has "free" soda)
