We arrive in Edmonds and find the other boat on this route.

 

 

We quickly depart.

Further North, we see a Washington State Ferry on the Mukilteo-Clinton route. Clinton is on the South shore of Widbey Island.

I tested the video on the test forum. Here is the video from Pike Place Market.

We separated from the BNSF Cascade Mainline at Everett and headed North.

We started to see the farmland of North Snohomish and Skagit Counties.

 

 

At Mount Vernon, We pulled into a siding to allow the Southbound Amtrak Cascades train from Vancouver BC to pass.

Near Bellingham, we were back out on the Puget Sound.

I reminded Susan that we would be crossing into Canada shortly, and she needed to eat her Apple she picked up at the hotel that morning. She wasn't allowed to transport fruits across the International Border!

 

Quick joke: Why does Amtrak only carry Pepsi on its train to Canada?

 

It doesn't want to transport Coke across the border.

We had a lot of fun riding the False Creek Ferry.

 

 

 

We walked up the dock to the Yaletown Roundhouse circle to catch the hop on hop off bus.
