Statue of Liberty

Sailing into and out of Red Hook on the Caribbean Princess 7/31/19.

Does anyone know which side of the ship passes by the Statue of Liberty? (Port or Starboard)

Or perhaps it is one side sailing in and the other sailing out?

I would expect one side going out, and the other coming back.

Love leaving from nyc and passing the statue should also be able to see new World Trade Center , perfer leaving from Manhattan but also like leaving from Brooklyn used to live walking distance from there

That's a great description of sailing from the Manhattan Cruiseport! Unfortunately the OP is sailing into the Brooklyn Cruiseport and will only get to experience sailing under the Verrazano Bridge and viewing the Teardrop Memorial and the Statue of Liberty from a distance.
