LoriAB Posted July 4, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2018 Can anyone here please clarify? Some years ago we cruised on Carnival Miracle when the ship was very new. One of our ports was Cozumel. This past November we also cruised to Cozumel, but this time on Royal Caribbean. The place we went in November was very different from what I remember previously. Are there different docks? Would anyone know where Carnival Paradise will be in Cozumel? Thanks!
Rare sid_9169 Posted July 4, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 4, 2018 There are 3 cruise ship piers in Cozumel. Punta Longosta is the furthest North, and sits right in the downtown area of San Miguel... Further South (and pretty close to each other) are the International pier (mostly RCL) and Puerta Maya. Carnival normally ports at Puerta Maya unless there are multiple ships, in which case they sometimes go to the International pier. Norwegian normally docks downtown at Punta Longosta. (Long story short, you will most likely dock at Puerta Maya)
c-leg5 Posted July 4, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 4, 2018 PP is correct, there are three piers and you will most likely dock at Puerta Maya, which is just next door to International where you docked in November. Check Puerta Maya schedule http://m.puertamaya.com/Port-Schedule.aspx It is a long time since I saw any Carnival ships at International their smaller, older ones sometimes dock in town at Punta Langosta.
