Transportation from Miami airport to POM

We are looking to get from Miami Airport to Port of Miami for a family of 5. I noticed that taxis have a flat rate of $27. Does this include taxi minivans or only regular 4 passenger taxis? Any other suggestions for lower cost transportation besides the cruise line transfer shuttle that costs $16pp? Flying in the night before and staying at a local airport hotel (our flight arrives at 10pm). Thanks for any help!

Van and SUV taxis are flat rate as well.

 

Uber/Lyft are also a better choice than $16pp shuttles.

UberXL or a mini-van cab should handle 5 passengers and normal bags. The flat rate cab fare only applies from MIA to POM - from your hotel to the port you'll be on the meter, but it should be in the $27-30 range before any tip.
