shoegal24 Posted July 15, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2018 I am traveling with my 4 year old on the Mariner in October and I'd rather not have to bring his car seat for a taxi. How are the Royal Caribbean transfers to / from ship? Are they on a big coach bus, or is it a regular van that I would need a car seat for anyway? I feel comfortable without his car seat on a big bus, but I wouldn't feel comfortable with him in a van without his car seat booster. Ship leaves from Miami. Thanks! LeeW Posted July 17, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 17, 2018 It really depends on when you are getting to the airport. If you are the only people arriving within a couple hour window they could even send you to the ship in a car. Usually it is a bus, but you might wait an hour or more for several flights to arrive. Ship to airport will always be big bus.
Ashland Posted July 17, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 17, 2018 Not usually a fan of ship transfers...but one cruise itinerary when traveling with our toddler grandson the ship (large bus) was the better option in this case.
