The currency on Royal Caribbean ships is the US dollar, no matter where they are.

We are cruising on Rhapsody, in Nov, out of Venice. What currency is used onboard and in the casino?

 

DH and I are also cruising out of Venice in November. Be sure to get Euros, if staying Venice before or after the cruise you will want to go the casino. It been in use as a casino since the 1600's and our last visit there I won 1900 Euros on a slot machine

 

It's small casino, ground floor is slots, upstairs has cards, etc. but men have to wear a jacket to up.
