You can go to cruisestateroom.com. It shows that some of the cabins do have obstructed views. I was on the ship years ago on the deck below you and did have an obstructed view. We say the bottom of the lifeboats. There are some that aren't obstructed. You might want to call ncl and check.

we had cabin 8208 in feb. there was a lifeboat right outside our windows (there were 2) they didn't totally block our view but we couldn't look down at the water. the little area by the elevators was very nice, floor to ceiling windows and comfortable chairs you could sit and look outside or read. these cabins are much larger than most cabins on the ship and was very comfortable.
