Question for recent Grand Princess cruisers

Hello -

 

I have read of the new menus being tried and the Ruby and another passenger attended a BVE on the Grand recently and made mention of new menu items starting. Can anyone tell me if they adopted the Ruby type menus or just changed up with new menu items?

I am waiting to hear something as well. It was the DaVinci dining room head waiter that told me the 15 new food items were starting that next day.

I hope they don’t drop the prime rib or the lobster. Interested to see what the new menus are. I plan on getting copies of all of them and will share but we don’t sail until mid-September.

Just got off the Grand on Saturday. Seems the main dining room menu was the same one we had on the Island in April. Lobster was available ( if you can call it Lobster) on the second formal night. Looked to me like slipper lobster. No butter served with it. The King Cab legs on the night out of Victoria were AWESOME. oh yeah, no Butter.

What happened when you asked for butter? Never had a problem getting some if it wasn't already provided.

Excellent table servers, they were busy and we decided not to ask. I'm sure we could have got some. The lobster seemed to already had some on it.
