Turning Platinum-can you get in cabin early?

I look at all the benefits that Carnival offers to it's VIFP, but when you turn Platinum, I know you get on early, but can you get into your cabin early? LIke FTTF?

You'll board BEFORE FTTF, and Yes you can go straight to your cabin!

well, you SHOULD be able to access your room immediately.

 

I usually have been able to, but on my last cruise (Miracle Feb '18) cabin was not ready, steward was inside working and it was nowhere near ready. Hopefully that was just a one time experience.

We had that happen once with FTTF but at least we were able to drop off our carry-ons. Grabbed something to eat and when we got back, our cabin was ready.
