BlondieDogLover Posted August 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2018 Please provide your opinions on whether you think my 87-year old Father would be able to negotiate the walk down the 400 steps of the Nativity Tower in Sagrada Familia (Gaudi's Basilica). He is in relatively good shape...but I understand that there are no handrails on the walk down the 400 steps from the top of the tower to the bottom. Also...Please suggest the BEST Restaurants for Tapas in Barcelona. Also...Do you the think Red On/Off Bus is the best way to see Barcelona if we are only there for 1-1/2 days ? Thank you, Lisa

Rare ollienbertsmum Posted August 18, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 18, 2018 There is a lift to the towers- I think it might have been one way only but I am not sure if it could be used as a more accessible way down. For me going up the tower was not very interesting. I preferred the stained glass windows downstairs. I could have sat there all day.
