Cell Service in Bermuda

We have Verizon, just curious how the cell service is down there or if there are easily accessible open hotspots down there? We're looking forward to disconnecting for a bit but wanted to check in with family once we get to Bermuda.

Bermuda is one of the Travel Pass countries, so it costs $10 per 24 hours, giving you access to your domestic plan including your data.

 

You can also just do pay as you go. Check out their website to see costs affiliated with your plan.

Just a friendly heads up for dinosaurs like me... my trusty 4S and my grandfathered plan were not eligible for Verizon Travel Pass on my 8/4 Bermuda sailing. If I had really wanted to call someone, I could have used Facebook Messenger with Voom, which I did have, but email did me fine.....
