allpoints Posted August 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2018 I thought I read somewhere that the SEA Port (Princess Cruise) does not allow UBER cars to drop off guests close to the terminal. They must drop off in a more remote location and you need to walk to the terminal with your luggage. Taxis on the other hand are allowed to make their drop offs right at the terminal. Can someone clarify/confirm this information for me.
ransrider Posted August 21, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 21, 2018 We stood outside the cruise port and waited in the designated location for our Uber pickup following our cruise. We did not use Uber to the port so can't answer for sure on drop offs before cruise. Sent from my SM-G960U using Forums mobile app
jaynak Posted August 30, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 30, 2018 I took Uber from The Sleep Inn Seatac TO THE Port last week. It cost $38.66 plus tip and could not have been easier! Drop off was very close to the Port Entrance Door.
Caribensun Posted August 31, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 31, 2018 Highly recommend and always use "Already There" town car service. They are excellent. I have used them from/to airport and train station to and from the pier for several years. Sandipalms

It's leaving the port where the Uber and Lyft drivers are diverted to a less convenient area about 1/4 mile from the terminal.
Rare Ferry_Watcher Posted September 1, 2018 #6 Share Posted September 1, 2018 During the Embarkation time (arriving for your cruise) the Uber/Lyft drivers are allowed to bring passengers directly to the Terminal. Occasionally, some of the least experienced drivers will drop off passengers at the Uber/Lyft Debarkation pick-up area which is about 1/4 mile away from the Terminal under the false assumption that 'morning rules' are in still effect. Just tell your driver to head straight to the Terminal.
