Cabin under pool deck ?

Sailing on the Jade in May .

We wanted a mini suite since it’s an 11 day cruise . Unfortunately mini suites are only available on deck 11 which has the pool , restaurants etc above on Deck 12 . We had a bad noise experience at night with a restaurant above us on a past cruise . So for this cruise we

picked a room that’s below the pool deck hoping that nights will be relatively quiet . Anyone have experience with a room below the pool deck ?

The worst noise was when they were setting up or tearing down the loungers.

Not on the Jade, but I was below the pool deck on the Spirit on my last cruise. You were woken up around 5.30-6am each morning as they set out all the loungers. It wasn't massively loud but enough to disturb you. However, it didn't last long and I usually went back to sleep.

 

I'd say it's not ideal, but it won't ruin your cruise either.

Try to choose one of the mini-suites forward of the pool area on the starboard side. You'll be under the card room and library. The fitness center is on the port side and I've people have posted hearing noise.

Maybe you can move your cabin to under the spa. Should be quieter than under the pool.

Yes ... rooms under library and card room are taken . I’m considering moving under spa.
