Assuming that you are talking about for disembarkation, it is very early in the morning, because the special train to Anchorage leaves around 7:00.

When you check in in Anchorage, your luggage will be checked through to the ship. They do it for a lot of people every day that there is a ship in port. No need to worry at all. We have done it twice.
