For YTD which dining room and is it upper or lower ?Read that for YTD you have to check in somewhere on deck 5 ? Is there a different check in for Diamond cruiser for dining ?

Are you able to walk outside totally around the ship ? Is this in the Havana area and if so can a non Havana cruiser walk through there during the day ?

Thank you for your time

Is there a different check in for Diamond cruiser for dining ? - Check in for YTD is on deck 5 next to the coffee place and photo area. The Horizon Dining room is 2 levels and you can be placed on either or request a floor. Diamonds go directly to Horizon Dining Room on Deck 3 to be seated for YTD.

Thank you for your time

Hi MuuMuu, Did the 14 day Horizon TA in May but only ate at MDR on the 2 formal nights. They left a note in the cabin that Diamond guests may check in directly at the aft dining room (Meridian, Deck 3) without stopping at the check in desk on Deck 5. The hostess on the upper level is a good friend so I just walked up both times and never had to wait. The other 12 nights, I dined at the 'for fee' dining venues- twice each at Steakhouse, Cucina, Jijis, Bonsai Sushi and Pig and Anchor Smokehouse, once at Teppanyaki and Chef's Table. Had a lot of OBCs to use up.

On the Vista, regarding Your Time Dining. There is a desk, similar to a Hostess stand, on Deck 5 between the specialty coffee stand and the photo place, as trvlgirlmq mentioned. That's where you go first to check in. From there, you'll go to the Aft stairway down to Deck 3, where the Horizon Dining Room entrance is located. The reason for the odd set up is because the entrance to the dining room for YTD is off of the Aft elevator lobby. It's a small area, and would get crowded very quickly if a line formed there for people waiting to check in and be seated.
