Excursion Desk on Embarkation Day

I've sailed several cruise lines and they have all been very busy on Embarkation Day. I recommend booking excursions in advance through the cruise line or ShoreTrips.com. Your TA may also have a recommendation for you.

How busy is the excursion desk on embarkation day (generally speaking)?

TIA

I think it depends on the itinerary. If you have an itinerary that includes HMC and / or Grand Turk, and have booked a cabana, and are hoping to get a specific one, you'll need to get to the Excursions Desk right away after boarding. If you're planning to book an excursion that has a limited capacity, I would suggest booking it ahead on line, rather than wait until you board.

I was curious because there are certain excursion you can only book on the ship. Good info! Even though people have contradicting info...lol

It depends upon how early you embark.

We have priority embarkation. I have not seen anyone at the Shore Excursion desk at that time.

I don't need to book my excursions, I need to get my villa assignment. So just wondering how long the line was going to be. :)

Try to get the earliest check-in time. After you check in at home port, you'll receive a lower Zone number card. Upon embarkation, head right over to Excursion Desk. If it looks closed, go to Guest Services.
