MED Cruise in OCTOBER/ more questions,,,Naples

OK, one of our stops is Naples,

 

My Question, is the town a walking distance from the port?

Our shore excursion isn't until the afternoon, but really want a pizza

 

is this possible?

There is decent pizza in Naples within a block or two right around the dock, you don't have to go down town.

Town is right within walking distance - I did this last year on Epic out of Barcelona. Had best pizza ever :)
