We've been in Rotterdam 4x on Princess ships and there's always been a shuttle. The terminal is on the south side of the Maas river while all the attractions/downtown are on the north side. The terminal is very near the amazing Erasmus bridge if one wants to walk into town, but we've always taken the shuttle and "saved" our walking to see the sights. I believe the first stop is near the Markthal, a relatively new indoor market, which is an attraction in and of itself. The shuttle drives by various sights and makes multiple stops; the driver (or a guide) points them out. So it's a mini-tour, too. I've gotten off at Markthal and walked as far as the RR station (Rotterdam Centraal), another newish architectural gem. The city is full of the latter because the city center was bombed out during WWII unfortunately. But it gave architects a blank slate to design new and daring buildings there. Enjoy!

Is there a shuttle bus departing cruise terminal in Rotterdam to city center?

Rotterdam Cruise Terminal will provide "absolutely free" shuttle to Market Hall

The correct Roll Call for this cruise is https://boards.cruisecritic.com.au/showthread.php?t=2497799&page=89

Lots of activity on that thread, join us there and/or on board

Thank you all for the info! We are boarding in Southampton and will be doing our own tour to Amsterdam.

Amsterdam is a wonderful place, what with all its canals and interesting old buildings along them including the Rijksmuseum, a huge art museum. Enjoy!
