Sailing on Getaway

If you are in a regular room, there is no outlet next to the bed. You can bring your own extension cord or get one from the ship. If you contact the Access desk, they will arrange for free distilled water and a cord. Remind your cabin steward on embarkation day. We brought our own 12’ and 6’ cord for the getaway. Surge protectors are not allowed.

Pictures of Getaway outlets can be found at https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2666700

We were in an inside cabin last year and the sockets were near the foot of the bed by the dresser / mirror area. There were no sockets at the top of the bed. Not sure about distilled water sorry. We just filled up water bottles from the buffet.

Hi! You can email: accessdesk@ncl.com

They send me the email below along with an attachment with a form to fill out and return.

Thank you for choosing Norwegian Cruise Line

I am the Access Desk Coordinator for the Norwegian Getaway.

C-pap machine ( Distilled Water)

Please be advised that ship can provide you with distilled water for the machine for the duration of the cruise at no cost to you. Please indicate on the attached form if water is required. You can also contact the Access Officer on board if there any problems or you require additional water. The Access Officer can be reached through the Front Desk.

Guests are able to obtain an extension cord at the Guest Services Desk if needed. All vessels are equipped with 110V & 220V outlets.

NOTE: Extension cords are allowed onboard. However, if it is determined to pose a hazard, it will be confiscated from luggage to be examined for safety and if deemed safe, returned to the guest.

Please see the attached form and submit it back no later than 5 days prior to sailing or you can request distilled water upon embarkation.
