We use Aptimil lactose free formula.

Ooh I hadn't thought they would confiscate a kettle. Is that likely?

I guess I can just get hot water from the coffee machine in my room then.

I'm not overly fussy about being Strile, just trying to work out easiest Way to make them while away

Not all rooms have coffee makers.

If you are not worried about it being sterile (not a concern for a normal 7 month old), just mix it with room temperature water and shake vigorously and then put the bottle in a cup / container of hot water to raise the temperature if that’s needed.

In our experience, The coffee pot water will taste like coffee unfortunately.

I second this post. Making my tea from the hot water carafe that room service delivered would taste of coffee frequently, so just get the hot water to warm the bottle after you mix formula with the tap water in a bottle. You can re-purpose your (empty) ice bucket to warm the bottles.

Formula doesn't have to be a specific temp to be ingested, so warm it to the point that kiddo will drink it.
