Pan Am Pier Luggage Hold?

We may be arriving at 5:30 am for our cruise on NCL out of San Juan. Is there a place at the Pan Am Pier where we could store our luggage while we did a bit of exploring prior to our embarkation?

Pan Am pier isn't in Old San Juan, it's on the other side of the Harbor, and there isn't anything to do or see in the immediate area, so even if there were someplace to store your luggage in that area (and I doubt there is) you'd have to then taxi over to Old San Juan for sightseeing.

 

In Old San Juan itself, Barachina, a restaurant located at 104 Fortaleza St. offers free luggage storage service for cruise passengers, but that doesn't start until 9 am and with your very early arrival it's going to be tough to fill in the time before they open . If you can find a restaurant in Old San Juan that's open very early for breakfast...perhaps someone else knows of one...you could have breakfast first, then make your way to Barachina and have them hold your luggage. When you're ready to go to Pan Am you can take a taxi from Barachina.

Yes, thanks. I know where the pier is and was hoping to just get a taxi to the pier, drop luggage then head out for a few hours. We will look into just having a taxi drop us at a restaurant near the beach and spend a long leisurely time eating and/or hanging out, then head to the port at 10 am or so.
