Release of 2020 Itineraries (Thanksgiving Time)

So, does anyone know or have guesses when Carnival might release itineraries for later in 2020?

 

Maybe some historical data from previous releases?

Typically it's springtime. In this case, April-ish of 2019.

 

Seems like I've heard December or January they will release the Summer/Fall 2020 itineraries but I'm looking for details myself.

I've also heard they will be released in two months. Supposition at this point! I'm anxious to hear!

The rest of 2020 will be released by November - next month. Most ships/itineraries anyway.

How was I able to book one month shy of 2 years for my Christmas cruise this year? Do they release early for new ships? Like how they have the panorama out?

The Panorama was released way way out. More than even the Vista or Horizon. But they usually release the dates 17, 18 months in advance. January-April 2020 have been out since November last year.

I hope they announce the repositioning cruises soon. My 2 week deal ends in about a week and a half. I'd like to sail on the breeze potentially.

Would love to see more choices out of Charleston. Carnival mostly runs to the Bahamas for 4 to 5 nights... too short and not interesting enough.

From what I understand, in Nov they will release the bookings for May through Dec 2020. They release in big blocks, not monthly dribbles.

 

So that matches your booking pattern: in Jan 2017 you booked for Dec 2018.

 

I would bet in May or June they will release for Jan 2021 through April 2021.

 

Why are the two block different size? I dunno. And I would bet Carnival reserves the right to change timing and size of future blocks at will. ;)
