First time out of Tampa

We are leaving on the Carnival Paradise next Saturday out of Tampa.  It is our first time cruising from there and only our second time on Carnival (first time was 7-8 years ago).  We booked late so we have a late check-in time, 1:30-2pm.  Is it possible to take on all our luggage (just one bag for each of us) and take it right to our cabin?  This way we don't have to wait for it to be delivered and we can get unpacked right away and start our vacay.  Thanks for your help!

Any luggage that doesn’t fit through the scanner has to be checked...

Not sure about Tampa, but I have taken large luggage on with me on Carnival. It's worth a try. If it won't fit through then simply give to the porter.

If your bag is so large it won't fit through a scanner, you're taking too much stuff.  Many regularly cruise with an airline sized carry-on roller bag for each person.  We also have a small backpack to carry important things like phones, passports, medicines, etc.
